Those guys in Valley City must have their head up their asses on this beer thing. They must never go to restaurants as there are kids everywhere. If you ever go to Labby's kids are playing darts etc. and beer is on the table. You don't have to serve beer, but don't ban the place just it might be being done.

Keep in mind that there are people that do not want the Fargodome used for high school events because there are "BEER SIGNS" that are visible, and can't be covered.

Uggh. These type of people frustrate me the most. They are so insecure about their parenting skills that they feel the only way to raise a child is to seclude them from everything that could possibly be harmful to them. Instead of occasionally discusing the dangers of alcohol and why it would be harmful to their children, they would rather pretend it doesn't exist and agressively try to build an artifical bubble around their little preciouses' all the while trampling on the rights of free enterprise and people who enjoy the ocassional beer while viewing a sporting event. Ok, my rant is done.

Just wanted to resurect this thread to give everyone an update. I got a tour on Monday and the building is really coming along. There is still a ton of interior work to be done and they will have to be working damn near around the clock to be ready in less then three months. It is really going to be a first class facility, the only interior finishes that are being started is the half-wall infront of the suites which is going to be slate. Taping and was going on in the 36 suites.

I did take a few pictures, nothing all that exciting. The main entrance will be on the SW side and the loby is suposed to have a restaurant. A big milestone is being reached this week, the cement is being poured for the rinks floor. 10 miles of pipe were used for the ice making system.

Thought some of you would want an update.
