2007 Bison Football Awards

I'm bored as heck reading the threads for next year and where coach is going to go. Please stay here. So I was thinking, How bout starting a debate on the team awards. Like MVP, most improved, difference maker, Freshmen/Newcomer (transfer) of the year. This should be fun. Here's my picks.
MVP- Walker, pulled a few games out of his rear, just amazing
Most Improved- Tempted to give it to TR, didn't really see him coming to be honest, he was good but nowhere near to what he was this year obviously. Belmont also really showed a lot of improvement
Freshmen/Newcomer- Pat, totally changed the game when he was in and you always held your breath hoping for the homerun
Unsung Heroes- Gotta be the Rams upfront- best group I've ever seen here
Defensive Player of the Year- Joe, captain of the defense and alltime leading tackler at SU
Mr. Bison Pride- Drago, really understood what it means to be a Bison

If the secondary works on their tackling fundamentals...look out. Maybe we can send them down to SDSU for the tackling clinic they put on for us.

I seem to remember the SDSU guys having some trouble tackling in Fargo last year as well...Anyone remember the Travis White punt return for a touchdown.

The coaches will get our guys turned around for next year.

Mr. Bison Pride- I can't pick a single person out of the team that was MR. BISON PRIDE i am giving it to the whole team and BOHL coming to ndsu with a losing team and turning them into a winning team for the past 2 years... amazing job BOHL and the whole bison team!!! congrats
