Hawiian Night

Saw on GoBison that the Volleyball team is having a Hawiian Night for this Friday's (Oct. 26) game versus Oakland University. Should be fun to dress up tropical style and cheer on the Bison in a game that's almost a must-win if they want to stay at the top of the Summit League standings. The night will feature:

-Bison lei's given to the first 500 fans
-A hula dance contest
-Pineapple eating contest

Remember, the VB team IS eligible for the NCAA postseason championship. To make that tournament they must first qualify for the Summit League tourney by being one of the top four teams in the conference.

I'll be bringing the in-laws to the vb game Friday and then to the fb game Saturday. Should make for a fun weekend!

Yes, and saturday night's match against IUPUI at 7pm is half price with a ticket stub from the SUU football game.

Oh yea it was a fun nite, the Oakland coach got a yellow card for slammin his clip board on the floor. The refs were calling them for a lot of double hits and lifts, we saw some great pancake saves, the gals really go all out on both sides, big hitters, great passing, quick sets and jump serves you can see it all.
