Quin Ryan tied it up with 24 seconds left to send it into overtime. UNM's Alexis Ball scored the winning goal in OT with only 2 seconds left. That would've been a game to see.

A heart breaking loss for the Bison in this game. New Mexico is the best program the Bison will face this year and a win or a draw would have been huge. The team suffered a bit of a let down on Sunday and lost to a significantly weaker Idaho team 1-0.
On a positive note Becky Iwanicki returned from a knee injury in the season opener and Marrisa Wolfgram was also able to play after going down in the Creighton game last weekend.
Time to get back to our winning ways this weekend against Air Force on Friday and Northern Colorado on Sunday in Colorado Springs.
