I think it was actually a 5 year streak dating back to Easton Stick in 2019.
Not a surprise on talent, but it is surprising due to the devaluation of the RB position. The fact that James Robinson was undrafted still bothers me.
Pretty big statement to make off of like 3-is full games of play. Nobody is making sound evaluations off of that. Sorry to break it to you, but the guys “who do this for a living” get QB evaluations...
His chance was taken away from him by injury. The one thing he really needed was game reps, and he didn’t get those. We still have no idea what Trey can or can’t do in the NFL. A lot of people seem...
They always call the weakest fouls on him.
Good! He was being severely underutilized, which seemed to affect his confidence. I like a confident Grant Nelson.
I don’t see results from any of his drills, so I assume he was a bit banged up. Unfortunately, he is probably a day 3 pick at best.
Honestly, the time off probably allowed him to heal. He looked healthy and loose. I agree he has been rigid for the last three years.
I know he did not play against starters for the whole game, but I saw shades of 2017 Wentz in the sense that he was fearless without being reckless. I thought it was one of his better games since...
Wentz was incredibly clutch yesterday. Comeback victory from down 2 scores. On 3rd and 4th down, he was 7/9, 90yds, 2TD.
Chargers defense blew the lead…as is tradition. You can’t drive the field with 45 seconds left when your o-line is a leaky faucet.
Honestly, the fumbles are his biggest issue. Easton has played pretty good outside of fumbles. The fumbles are a big negative and you can’t win game when turning the ball over. Overall, his passing...
Montana saw how well copying the Bison Blueprint worked for SDSU, so they decided to take part as well. Unfortunately, they chose the wrong year to copy us.
And Courtney flashes more while here.
His passing has noticeably improved. He still needs to adjust to game speed when it comes to pocket awareness.
90% of me is with you on this. The other 10% is disgusted that he chose SDSU. I won’t wish the guy ill-will, but I will wish him -4 yards on 10 carries when he plays against us.
We have had good energy. Three crucial drops and six false starts is the problem. Outplayed mentally, but not physically.
2020 spring team was much worse than this team.
Stick isn’t playing great, but it is hard to say he is playing bad considering what is happening around him. This team would make Pat Mahomes look like Zach Wilson. I just feel “meh” about this whole...
That was a great play by the DB. On the replay, Stick didn’t have a chance. You couldn’t even see the defender until after the ball was thrown. Damn!
Records are a team stat. Honestly, half of those losses were probably blown by poor defenses.
They have a couple stops now. Honestly, they might be playing the best of the three units right now. Offense and Special Teams hasn’t done anything positive yet.
Am I watching a tragedy or a comedy?
Rough start. Stick is having a hard time feeling pressure in the pocket.
