Great to hear that we are getting this done. Of all the BS we are seeing nationally in regards to NIL, rewarding student athletes for staying on pace to graduate is fantastic. Being a DI athlete...

Interesting, I thought we only extended basketball coaching contracts in the middle of the night during winter break? This is a much deserved extension, great job Jory!
I really hope they are smart about their plan this time. Listening to Izzo's interview of Rob from a couple weeks ago didn't exactly install confidence that they will get this figured out. The guy...
Par for the course... SDSU has absolutely blown past us in just about in every facet during ADML
tenure. I started this thread a year ago and the ND high school numbers and quality of wrestling has...
Stay here to see if he can go 19-11, 10-6 in conference and lose to the bunnies in Sioux Falls. Or... bet on himself and transfer to a solid mid major program who needs depth in order to make a...
You have to be kidding me. A regular season home W against UND is our biggest victory of the year. Makes me hate the coaching situation more than I already did.
???? You signed up for monthly G&G payments but are upset about NDSU setting up an academic achievement award? The Alston payments have nothing to do with being a starter or NIL. A huge majority of...
I think the real question is how close is Team Makers to getting all athletic scholarships fully endowed? Once that is done the funding stream for Alston and G&G opens up.
I would rather use the Alston payment on the Olympic sports then Football and Basketball. An extra $6000 a year would be a huge recruiting tool for CC/T&F, Softball, Wrestling, W Soccer, Volleyball...
This belongs in the hall of shame...we have a bottom half Summit BB (low major conference) facility, spend bottom half dollars on the mbb program to include coaching salaries, absolutely zero...
I like Dave, he's been around the NDSU basketball program a long time. With that said, I have gone from somebody who used to watch a dozen games a year and follow the score on the rest to somebody...
4 in 6 years is not debatable, that is a dynasty

Assuming we go FBS we will need a lot more than 125 million to endow scholarships. It would be amazing to get that done before making that move so that Team Makers can focus on coaching salaries...
The well runs DEEP at the blue bloods in football and basketball. College sports will implode before there is "exhaustion" with those donors. The best case scenario for the G5's and the NDSU's of the...
Yep, the Jacks come back down to earth next year. They lose a pile of talent along with the OC and likely QB head to NW. The only left to debate is where does the Jacks run ranks compared to the JMU...
Yep, that's game. Montana played a perfect 1st qtr and lose the game on the 1st play of the 2nd quarter.
ETA: ...and then SDSU let's them right back into it
Who knows, with Lujan heading to NW possibly with Gronowski in tow, maybe the Jacks fall apart.
I don't think anyone here thinks that we are a better athletic school than SDSU. The Bunnies own us in every sport that matters and in most that don't.
Are we sure this is the case since there was transfer portal opened after the coaching change? FM media seem to think that the portal is closed for NDSU player until April.
Catastrophic insurance used to be a big thing in D1 hoops but has definitely died post NIL.
True, save for the kids at Florida State who totally jumped ship.
Do any of these collectives offer any type of catastrophic insurance policies for career ending injuries for star JR's who elect to come back and play their senior year?
I would love to see Hockey at NDSU someday. We have already peaked in men's basketball and clearly don't care about it seeing as Richmond is still our coach. Assuming the Hockey community could raise...
I have really struggled with NIL but would absolutely sign up for something like this with G&G. Helping offset tuition and living expenses for partials and walk on's makes a ton of sense. Does anyone...
Pretty sure he was the champ last year. Looks like he came up short in the finals this year though. Heck of an athlete and great kid.
