That field looked fine to me after the game was over and the players had exited. I bet by Monday/Tuesday there will be no evidence of a football game having been played there.

Have some friends who sat up there and said it was just fine. Seats are set back a bit but way up high so very good view of the whole field.

I would naturally prefer a purpose built football...

You could sell me on JMU but that is the only one. JSU only managed to fill two sections in Frisco and I’m guessing that their fan base while somewhat rabid is limited to mostly alums and denizens...

Depending on the weather that day the upper deck may not be all that bad a place to be. Lots of breeze up there (if there is any) and a nice view of the city in case the action on the field is less...

Depends on what you mean by “lake country”. Mine was on the north shore of Lake Superior - 3 hrs 15 minutes one way from my place here on the west edge of Hennepin County. No way I would drive six...

I believe the Alumni Association feels there are ~ 10k of us alums down here - many of whom no doubt own lake homes and will be drawn to those on the last three day weekend of the all too short...
