Iowa State it is...Damn!
Right there with ya. Have to have my girlfriend push me off the boat to do the backflip though.
Hard to be disappointed with a guy that chooses a service academy. Salute to Mr Jake!
Have to agree. I thought last years pass blocking was great. Run blocking, not so much.
Also, he was Cody Mauch's coach for 3 of his 4 yrs on the OL and 2 outta 4 of Cordell Volson's yrs. Musta done something right.
I would think Zabel would be the best of the group. He's being touted as an All American and draft pick. But I do agree with you, Miller and Rock should be good as well as Zabel, leaving 2 spots...
Did he get reps against returning D starters? I know some of them weren't active but you get what I'm saying. For those of us not there, what did he do to standout to you?
Gotta say that for the first time in years the O line gives me concern. I hope it turns out to be all for naught.
Are you referring to Luepke?
Listening on 1660, Phil doesn't sound very impressed with O Line. Says Defense looks better than he expected.
Sucks to hear that!
Are you gonna be in attendance today Bruin? I'm curious as to who may be starting on the OL? Also curious as to how some of the younger D lineman look....McCaslin, Larson, Wilson.
You missed Landon Meier Tony.
Wow! Great news. That the earliest commit in recent yrs?
Thanks Slick.
So any big news/observations from those at practice?
Thanks for all your efforts. Wish I lived closer as it sounds like a great experience.
I'm wondering if they're gonna go after a RB after losing Hall?? to the Wabbits. Correction...lost Woods to the Wabbits.
Per usual he adds numbers/years when it suits him. Dickert was a GA in 08, safeties in 09 and 10. Left before 2011.
I wouldn't be surprised to see either Lockerby or Empey starting at the other guard position opposite of Miller.
I have heard Dom and Kolpack mention coaches have been impressed with him.
Sure don't hear much about the Mizzou transfer Zatechka when they're talking O Line. Surprises me a bit.
Looks like he just swapped with Josh Magin who was listed as D Lineman, but is now OL. Magin is taller and maybe considered more of an OT type body. As mentioned earlier there really aren't many...
Yes, seemed to be a lot of attempts at a highlight play rather than just making the play. As said earlier a lot of it can be attributed to poor positioning.
