  1. Re: NDSU looks at possible football game at Target Field

I heard about the “tearing up the field” complaints, which made me wonder if they knew that ball players use cleats too, or that this isn’t/wasn’t a complaint when baseball and football teams share a...
  2. Re: NDSU looks at possible football game at Target Field

I wish I had my camera ready for the Lance to Sproles TD pass. That was a visual too good for 4K TVs.

Prior to 1960, yes. After that, not really and that includes a short period where Lou Holtz tried to save them. It didn’t work, so he took his magic to Notre Dame.

According to this site, https://www.huskeralum.org/s/1620/social.aspx?sid=1620&gid=1&pgid=539, there's a Cornhuskers Watch Party 3 1/2 blocks away at Lyon's Pub...

Don’t forget those not living in either state. I know three us from the Springs will be there.

No problem. Also, good thing I have a Flo account so I can watch the Delaware game. Bri-dog, I'll bring up my computer for this game for the watch party. It'll save you time and money.

They must have just updated recently as I was on there looking for an answer when the question was asked.

I believe someone asked if this game would be broadcast. Seeing that it is on the ESPN+ schedule, I’m going say “yes” that the local VNL team is covering it for FM area.

Going through the nine sections that have seats available in the diagram below from the Twins’ ticket site, I estimate there are between 1,500 and 2,000 seats available.

  15. Re: NDSU looks at possible football game at Target Field

I'm not sure how far off he is, but keep in mind, that the NDSU home game for the Goofers was by far their biggest draw:

    Bowling Green 49,253
    Miami (OH) 45,383
    Purdue 47,483
    Ohio State ...

  17. Re: NDSU looks at possible football game at Target Field

The best seats available this morning were the Delta 360 Club seats, but you couldn't get them as singles. Therefore, I'm going to wait to see how the tickets on the secondary market look. The...
  18. Re: NDSU looks at possible football game at Target Field

I thought they added an extra semi-home game, only for it to be played at Target Field. No games were taken away from anyone. Therefore, why anyone complains, is absurd. The only issue I would...
  19. Re: NDSU looks at possible football game at Target Field

For those who think Target Field has seats too far away for football, outside of those seating in the RF bleachers, you’re wrong. Here’s a comparison of where the South end zone will be compared...

What’s there to accomplish at the G5 level? Have a great season and get invited to the Frisco Bowl?

    2018 SEC versus FCS teams:

    Alabama vs. The Citadel
    Arkansas vs. Eastern Illinois
Auburn vs. Liberty (probably was a FCS team when the game was scheduled)
    Florida vs. Charleston Southern...

I believe to be considered an alum, you would have to graduate first. Nice to see that the alumni population has grown 5,000 since I last checked a few years ago.

With that said, alumni is only a...
  23. Re: NDSU looks at possible football game at Target Field

I wouldn't bet against the NDSU fanbase. I live in Colorado and still manage to make 2-4 NDSU games a year. The toughest games to make are in Fargo due to the ticket demands and cost of travel. A...
  24. Re: NDSU looks at possible football game at Target Field

Wouldn't they do something similar to what was done at the Rose Bowl in 2014 where the Rose Bowl was played, then five days later they played the BCS Championship Game? In that scenario, the laid a...

Supporting? Wow, I thought this whole time he was the lead. Well, I guess that explains why Kurt Russell got so much camera time.
