Olson has connections as well.
Bohl had a small window where I think if turned things around and won big he could have gotten a bigger job but now that window has closed. He is going to be a Wyo lifer.
Klieman managed it with class, nothing more needs to be said.
There needs to be some kind of happy medium between no bonding and extravagant spending. It is moronic to have to fund large project in the manner that state demands. Maybe half the money should be...
The only way to fix the issues with the arena would be to build something completely new from the start and with the idiotic rules governing how the school can bond money who knows how long that...
Not sure how the leg room issue is cutting corners since the main reason the issue exists is because a donor wanted to put in premium seats.
You are talking about people that were mesmerized by Brewster. Not a lot of great football minds at the Gopherhole.
Bohl is a very unflashy hire but winning is all he does. He could come in and...
Bohl's buyout is $6.5 million? He must really love Wyoming.
Bohl's bowl game...
Poinsettia Bowl- BYU vs Wyoming
I don't think Claeys is going to take that program any further, they are back in Masonland. Which is fine but I can't blame some of their fans if they want more.

I think he wants to get back to the P5 so if one of those schools comes calling he is probably gone. He would have left NDSU sooner for the right job.
A lot of these schools get desperate to find the magic solution. Last year Bohl got an interview from Iowa State, which still kind of shocks me considering how bad Wyo was.
Houston had an established program before Herman took over, Briles and Sumlin put them on the map.
Meanwhile Wyoming was a dumpster fire and is in the middle of nowhere. If Bohl keeps winning he...
Bohl would be a great hire but like was said in another thread they'll probably go with the trendy pick...Houston's coach.
If they had beaten EMU they would be in consideration for a New Year's bowl.
Bohl wins....he may not be coaching in Wyoming next year. Putting together a really good season. He'll be getting some calls.
I would hope he could afford better then DQ but then again culinary options are probably limited in Laramie.
Wyo might not win a game.
I'm not sure you realize that Wyo is in a horrible recruiting area.
They need to hit Texas, AZ and CA. If they don't do well in those areas they are screwed.
Why limit your talent base? Why stay out of the most talent rich states?
Not saying a team needs to be in all three but you need to be in at least one. We are pulling good talent out of Florida....
The people on our staff that recruited Texas left. Now we are into Florida.
As a football program you need to have presence in states like Florida, Texas and California. Just too much talent not...
He is just relying on connections he has built and cultivated for a long time, the problem Bohl has is that his school has little tradition and almost zero exposure here. All they have is the FBS...
Didn't see Perles mentioned specifically. Just a lot of talk about how our former offensive coaches would go to East Lansing in the summer to talk football with MSU's coaches.
Quote from Bohl...
Interesting article about how our staff spent some time at Michigan State while Bohl was here...
