It actually makes sense to find St Thomas and Augustana a better home. Plus if SDSU, NDSU or USD ever wanted to start a hockey program it makes sense.

Hockey fans are kind of different animal. The question is, is everyone in the state who loves hockey already a UND Hockey Fan or would this take the very casual NDSU Fans who love hockey and get them...

Hockey is huge in North Dakota. It would require a big ass investment and if Omaha can be competitive, we certainly could. It would be a big economic driver to the FM area and NDSU

That would make sense. Missouri State, Indiana State, Illinois State, Southern Illinois, Northern Iowa, Youngstown... West division and East division. Lots of existing rivalries.

Good riddance and the Summit League is on it's way to becoming better than the MVC. UMKC is about a relevant in Kansas City as Minnesota State Community & Technical College is in the Fargo-Moorhead...

Extra auto bid still doesn't seem to be worth it. You'll just see one less at large. If the Summit has some great brand, it could be cool, but it doesn't. The MVFC is the king in the eyes of everyone...

That would be terrible and would never happen. No benefit for the Summit unless we get to play all the MVC Basketball teams
