It might not stay there anyway with KC and TC markets in play.
No reason to add Auggie until another school leaves again. Hopefully there will be a better option by the time that happens.
As long as they don't become a majority or come close to having an equal say it'll be fine. 2-4 isn't going to be an issue. When privates start dictating decisions than you have problems.
I know it's close but....:)
Way better now.
I care about our BB auto bid that's why I like adding St. Thomas. It solidifies our BB conferences auto bid. Like I said I much prefer St. Thomas over Auggie, I'd rather have a NMSU but I'll take...
You got it backwards. D2 and D3 schools are allowed 1 D1 sport. If your D1 more then 1 sport you have to be D1 in everything.
Good I'll take St. Thomas over Auggie any day. I'm assuming their FB would go Pioneer League and hockey could go WCHA or whatever the hell they are calling themselves now days. This would be a solid...
Not really. It's happening all over the country.
Again this has absolutely nothing to do with what athletic conference we are in or who else is in it. That's strictly an institutional issue. NDSU didn't drop from R1 to R2 because of who they play...
Neither are half the schools in the Summit League. It's the Summit League not the Ivies FFS.
Probably N/S would be the best option. The Big West is strictly a CA conference that I don't see expanding. The Big Sky is an option, that's why the Summit needs to move on this early.
I'm not...
With IPFW leaving finally, the Summit needs to make a push for GC, NMSU, UVU and UTRGV. Time to wack the WAC! There's a good chance these schools would bite with UMKC and CSBakersfield leaving in...
Not sure how much credit he deserves for those. Quite frankly Matt hasn't had to do a whole lot except keep the train on the tracks. He needs to start fixing some of these other programs or we need...
Such as?
I'd take NMSU in a second but that seems like a pipe dream. GC would be nice too but again probably not happening.
I disagree, Augie would be better then bringing back UMKC. Plus they have baseball. Only thing UMKC brings is the KC market which doesn't really follow UMKC anyway. Not to mention UMKC would be...
Why not? CP and Davis are football only.
