Re: The Easton Stick Mega Thread

If I am right from my remote outpost here in Minneapolis, and he is wrong as a dedicated beat writer, it will reinforce my point that he has no more information than the rest of us Joes.

Re: The Easton Stick Mega Thread

I take very little stock in a sports bloggers opinion. I don't know the writer, but guessing he has no to very little inside information.

I predict Stick makes the roster, Cardale gets cut.

Re: Easton Stick! We got him!

Wentz - #2 overall pick...Jensen udfa, 10k signing bonus, cut early in training camp..Stick 5th round pick. I'd say the average opinion, of Stick between Wentz and Jensen, was pretty spot on. I...

Gil Brandt's nfl.com ranking of remaining players has Stick higher than those two. But lots of QBs above still untaken.

Re: Easton Stick! We got him!

Arm strength seems to be one common reason that drops Easton down. We've seen him make great throws, and seen him make hard outside throws, but if his natural velocity is too low, I think it really...

Was going to say the same thing. Arm strength is extremely important. They want to know you can hit certain small windows for downfield and outside patterns. I think I saw a comment that Easton...

I think a better analogy would be, would you walk around with a million-dollar cashier's check in your pocket for two weeks before cashing it?

I don't recall this on Bisonville much at all. Carsons football IQ was a known strength, along with being in a Nfl pro based system. Many outsider and latecomers "scouts" who didn't watch Wentz...

    Re: Easton Stick

I think that is well put...our starters when healthy were championship caliber, but we didn't have deep roster strength until the 2010's.
