I was a skeptic on the Chargers using Easton in a Taysom Hill role. But seeing how he ran today, I think we will see it at some point this season.

Agreed. Couple fanatics had Easton 1st round at some point. A few more thought he’d go undrafted. The majority were thinking rounds 4-7.

As far as the 53 man, while it would be cool, don’t worry...

I follow the draft pretty close and this is my opinion where ES will go:

Can’t pass:
1.Kyler
2. Haskins
3. Lock
4. Jones
Doubtful but ya never know:
5. Finley
6. Stidham

I don’t think that is particularly controversial. The majority of starting QBs in the NFL are 1st round picks. Almost nobody thinks ES will go that high. But not getting the Senior Bowl invite sucks....

Hodges, Gubrud and Christion all had several hundred more passing yards last year than Easton. Not sure how he beats them out for an award largely based on stats.

Brock finished 4th his senior year. Expect about the same for Stick.

That pretty well sums it up. I’ll just add that Bohl is a fantastic special teams coach. I think both our O and D game planning has gotten better under Klieman but most would agree ST has regressed...
