How is it hypothetical when his numbers prove my point? In fact, looking at his numbers, his production is getting worse each year: ...
Dude, you boy's numbers are the benefit of playing against crappy defenses. NDSU puts up lofty offensive numbers pretty much each time they play a Big Sky team compared to when they play MVFC.
...
He had four games against the MVFC (one was against an elite defense). In only one of those games, did he pull All-American status-like numbers, which means he benefits from playing against teams...
Luckily for him, his stats weren't affected much by playing against the elite defenses of the MVFC.
For the record, nowhere in my post do I make fun of NDSU degrees.
Good for him. Rice is pretty prestigious university that is far from affordable. Busting his butt on the field and classroom will help him get far in life with a degree from there.
But can verbal between now and then.
I believe you're referring to Jake Reinholz of Shanley HS: http://gobison.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=7667&path=football
A lot of that had to do with that Carson guy running around like a pissed off bear.
Honestly, I'm thrilled to see this studs choose NDSU, but at the same time understand that there is chance not all will become Bison on the field whether by choice or unfortunate circumstances.
His brother is a freak that many at the FCS level will lack in regards to size and athleticism. After some of Jasir's highlight film, he appears to have more than enough size and speed for a Safety...
And make sure JJ tells him that life after being a Gopher could end up being stuck in a F'Hawking wasteland.
I scrolled through his twitter account all the way through October. Unless I skimmed by too fast and missed something, I didn't see anything remotely controversial.
Granted, I don't have a...

BTW, a lot interesting posts on his Twitter page from future Bison.
Between Holden, Noah and Trey, the competition to be Stick's successor is going to be at a high level. All three are pretty good and only one will come out as the alpha.
Garret Wegner (Freshman) punted a few times yesterday. I’m not if he punted in high school, but Redshirt Freshman, Jake Reinholz, might be an option.

Reminds me of a more physical Darius Anderson.
Dang, that kid has some mountain man-size to him! Are you sure he’s only 6’3” and 300 LBS?

Watched part of his HUDL video - he's extremely nasty. Plays literally all the way to the whistle. On one play he kept hit a defender into the ground despite the ballcarrier being what looked like...
Apparently, he was high on their (Iowa's) list earlier this year as he made this "big board" twice (#6 on 1.0 and #5 on 2.0): ...
Luckily for him that the hockey team struggled this year, the need to unclog them was nonexistent.
When you're playing in a violent sport with big, athletic dudes, "yes."
Interesting story. However, is the offer for football or basketball? If he has speed and good catching skills, maybe he could be a WR.
Heck of an athlete. Video makes him look like a man among boys.
