I don't think you will see any smack from them because I don't think they have a fan forum...at least not that I found though I only looked quickly

Montana's defense was small as well and we didn't run all over them in the playoffs...just sayin. I think they had a little more size than CSU though
They were very much on my mind as I posted that. Revenge game is the final game of the regular season:hungry:
^^^This. CSU were not chumps last year. I thought they were better than a handful of our fellow MVC teams and therefore would not want to overlook them.
Maybe. You have to admit though that Kupp vs unproven guys(Allison got roasted badly enough at times in the playoffs to keep me a bit nervous about losing #5&6) is an interesting matchup. Need lots...
This is certainly a tougher non-conference schedule than we are accustomed to. Charleston won't be a pushover and as bad as EW's defense has been, their offense is deadly and they seem to play well...
I'm not sure how many they graduated but that could be a competitive game. I thought they were pretty good in the bits of games I watched. Also I don't recall NDSU ever playing them so that would...
Yes though they have more legit reason to avoid us than FCS teams
I'm giving the BigSky (or at least Montana, Weber St., and EWU) a pass. At least they are behaving like peers to NDSU and scheduling home and homes instead of avoiding us like terrified little girls...
:bleh: :bleh: :bleh:
If NDSU misses the playoffs in FCS then they suck and don't belong in Frisco. If we lost both FBS games and a conference game I could still see us playing some home playoff games. Thing is we're...
I would much rather win one of 2 FBS games, possibly risk losing two games on the year and still go to Frisco. Beating up on cupcakes simply to make an easier treck to Frisco sucks some of the fun...
Yes but I'm saying that the FBS teams you mentioned would not schedule us even if we want to play them. The impression I'm getting is that very few FBS schools want to play NDSU
I don't but Ive attended home games and love the atmosphere but would still much rather relish the excitement/experience of watching us play a known nationally relevant team on TV than a D2. ...
I fully agree but would be very surprised if any of those teams would consider scheduling us
I would agree with the 2nd FBS game but the problem with that is that the only FBS teams that would even stay on the phone are probably top 10 teams. Do we really want to face two high ranked P5...
Conspiracy time. It's the rest of FCS trying to force us into another subdivision
For anyone who knows: Why is getting games scheduled in our own subdivision so difficult simply because we are good? Bama, Ohio State etc. are very good and I don't recall reading or hearing of...
I would hands down pick the Bison to beat them and if we played like we just did in the playoffs I think we would roll them but I also wouldn't look at it as anything less than playing a good FCS team
It would be interesting. I'm also curious about the talent gap...how our Rams stack up vs a great d2 run D etc. I'm far more curious about Iowa though ;)
I agree with the poster that mentioned that the top of D2 is much closer to the top of FCS than the top of FCS is to top of FBS. Many of those posters actually seem pretty sane
If your going to base your opinion off of a single game with the greatest FCS team all time vs a non-playoff D2 team then sure
The gap wouldn't be as huge as people think. There is very little difference between top D2 and much of FCS. If NDSU didn't take them seriously they could beat us and that game would be scary for...
