D2 has some scholarships, more than D1 non scholarships. Believe me I hate the idea of playing a D2 but it is what it is. A cupcake game just like half the other crap FCS schools. It's filler

I don't think it hurts in the eyes of the playoff committee anymore. Some correct me if I'm wrong but a D2 win still counts as a win (but it didn't a few years ago) it's just not a high quality win....

I don't have a problem playing a D2 game if it's thr ONLY option but I don't like the argument that FBS plays FCS, so it's acceptable.
