    Re: 2020 ndsu football season

Re: $5M Ellig renovation gets approval

I hope that part of the $5M goes to landscaping.
If the track is going to enjoy some great performances, the athletes need protections from the wind,

Poll: Re: Will Oregon wimp out & buy out?

I suspect the main reason universities closed this semester is because back in March they didn't know enough about the lethality of COVID-19 (and Italy looked bad at the time), and second is they did...
  5. Re: What happens to NCAA football after Covid19?

By 'it' I assume you mean COVID-19.

In my mind, the 'it' is decisions by political leaders and to some extent business owners.
They are reacting to COVID-19, but how they react is a choice. ...

Some of you may find this review of Easton interesting:

  7. Re: Is Trey Lance's Season the Greatest in Program History?

    AGREED !

IMO, NDSU ran Trey too much last year, especially in the Natty. I know he had options and made the decision to run for a lot of those. Nevertheless . . .

    Totally agree with you...

Just saw the short Twitter video of Coach Entz talking about the point system. The other system, apparently, is the 'grading system' on how they do in practices. Entz says he and his staff give...

    Re: 2019-20 Indoor Season

Some thoughts about the Indoor 3000m, Mens.

    Re: 2019-20 Indoor Season

Yes, nice job Tim. As for Alex (Bartholomay), his 4:11 was after running a 8:15 or so 3000m the day before, which was #3 on the NDSU All-time list.

Re: Who to Watch this Year (in 2020)?

Alex Bartholomay is a great story, I think.

He ran 4:29.34 in high school for 1600m. This is about a 4:31 mile (4:30.91 or so)
His first year at NDSU (redshirt Fr.) he ran a 4:26 mile
    His...

His best finish at the ND State meet (Class B) was 5th place. Not bad, but nothing to get excited about.
