    Re: Brock Robbins

The only facts we have right now is Mr. Robbins failed a post game NCAA test due to an unnamed stimulant and has lost his senior season. That's it.

Otherwise we have tons of unsubstantiated...

    Re: Brock Robbins

    You're not wrong.

    So, don't release a name.
Release that team W was tested with X tests on Y date and Z came back failed. Heck, include the "why they failed" (stimulant, etc).

    Or, make a...

    Re: Brock Robbins

    Good points.

The NCAA should have a very public place where all failed test are listed. If they're proud of their testing policy they should be transparent from start to finish, including...

    Re: Brock Robbins

I'd like to claim I do, but 2002 is a ways back.
What's more recent to me is Austin Gordon sitting out a year. He got caught. He had to sit.

And no way am I claiming what the issue for Robbins...

    Re: Brock Robbins

Because we may find that the NCAA is being arbitrary and capricious with their list of limited stimulants and UND lives under those rules too. That's a good starting place for interest.

If it is caffeine (we don't know) Robbins should say as much. It would probably garner a lot of sympathy and astonishment from the casual observer (that gets through their day with four cups o' joe)....

Re: Looking ahead... Who's after Klieman?

I had hoped not, but given the last two seasons ...

Bubba did a lot of work to fix Mussman's mess.
That said, there's a still lot of work to be done to fix UND Football football and an OC and...

    See!
You folks DO understand addition by subtraction.

Now, are you sure you don't want UND's addition by subtraction (take Bubba, please). :)

Re: Looking ahead... Who's after Klieman?

Klieman has more than earned a shot at the next level.

But, honestly, K-State would be a tough roll in having to follow Snyder and Snyder's son not getting the job (as some including Snyder...

    Re: Iupui receives horizon invite

    Undeniably.
However, the MVFC doesn't need the MVC to survive either. They are separate entities.

Such a move would be an act of goodwill by the MVFC members that are also MVC members.

< white flag up, but aces will still neg-rep me :D >

    There a wholly simple solution:

    Disband the MVFC.
    Yes, disband the MVFC.

  16. Re: Wichita State to the American Athletic Conference?

If the MVC takes in Valpo and UWMilw from the Horizon, I'd expect the Horizon to go after IUPUI and IPFW*. That creates Summit troubles.

And if the MVC takes two, I'd expect a third to make 12...

Re: ND Higher Education just got interesting

NDSU doesn't have "99% on campus". 59.8% (8,819 out of 14,747) are truly "campus only students" at NDSU. 40.2% of NDSU students take at least one online class.
