  1. Re: What are the potential weaknesses of the 2018 team?

Greatest weakness of this team? Back-up QBs are both red-shirt freshmen. I think we all remember what happened last time that a senior stud QB with talk of NFL draft went down with a serious injury...

    Re: New TV Revenue Model

Much as we all like FCS, MVFC and NDSU the fact is that, in the big picture, it is a niche market. For this reason I don't think that the FCS teams/conferences will put together packages like "the...

    Re: 2019 Verbal: Will Mostaert

I think he meant that they hadn't discussed it as in, "Hey, let's go to college together" or "Wouldn't it be cool to play against eachother." I think they are just trying to leave their options open...

Don't be ridiculous. You don't start pulling out "trick plays" in the National Championship Game because...wait a minute. S***! Get him!

Could he be a punt returner with that kind of speed?

How is the depth at DT?

    Re: 2019 Verbal: Julian Wlodarczyk

I want to put the accent on the 1st syllable (VLAWD-r-Chick) but that is purely a guess. I hope we all get REALLY familiar with his name and we get to watch video of the other team try to pronounce...

    Re: 2019 Verbal: Terrell Hall

Nothing wrong with grabbing a HS QB either. Even if he is not going to be a QB in college they tend to understand an offense better than players at other positions.

Couldn't someone trying to do a study without "assigning" people randomly to "play football" or "not play football." There are lots of kids who play football. There are also lots of kids who do NOT...

    Re: Just an offseason stat

I think NDSU could hold its own against teams from 30-100 but that is kind of quibbling. I think they could occasionally pull off an upset against a higher rated team similar to what happened...

    Re: JMU Post Game Thoughts.

It was an unbelievable game. The D just wasn't going to give an inch. I re-watched it yesterday and was surprised. Other than that couple minutes at the end of the 1st half Josh Hayes held his own...

My sister lived for a year or two in Alabama. When she got there someone asked, "Are you ready for winters here?" My sister responded, "I think so. Why?" They said, "Because it gets cold here." ...

YES. What separates Wentz from guys who have even better tools is he is a "football rat." He is constantly thinking about the game, and his role in it. He is excited by studying film. He is...

    Re: JMU Post Game Thoughts.

They're all connected. I have even heard some JMU fans think that Darrius Shepherd was a 12th player on a grassy knoll on his 50 yard TD. It is in the Dallas Metro Area I believe, so there's that.

It isn't that big of a step from accusing JMU of "targeting" the NDSU punter to discussing meat grown in labs. Try to keep up.

    Re: 2018 Commit: Dylan Evans

Beyond developing skills a kid who is good at multiple sports is probably a really good athlete. Don't underestimate the value of having an athlete above and beyond a guy with "skills."

  19. Re: JSU- I guess i would expect something like this from you

Dammit. What movie is that from?
  20. Re: JSU- I guess i would expect something like this from you

The only reason they lost those playoff games is the dis-respect from the committee making them a #3 seed. The committee didn't know what they were doing making NDSU (who lost a game in November)...

    Re: JMU Post Game Thoughts.

JMU and NDSU are simply evenly matched teams. Which is why it is fun to watch them face eachother. They finally get to "pick on someone their own size." I also very much agree about the advantages...

  23. Re: Fargodome watch party for championship games.... Thoughts?

Plenty of people have raised some valid practical concerns that would prevent this so I doubt it would happen.
