How the heck did I miss UCONN going independent a few years ago?
Yep. There is maybe a handful of teams with the requisite fanbases to routinely support such a team through several neutral site games.
I guess the alternative is local football fans buy up the...
Your favorite team went into a hostile environment yesterday and won in overtime and you are sick of it?
The best thing the FCS has to offer is the playoffs. Its very good. I want NDSU to move up...
CAS pulling out the legal words on BV! Bold!
That said, I agree with you. Kids will seek out opportunities (financial, PT, location, et al) that they feel suits them at that particular time.
I think the difference at places like OSU, Alabama, etc. (high end P5's) is that the guys who are leaving those schools are doing it for lack of playing time or getting homesick.
Idk if that means they have a near zero chance. They put it on hold.
Kraft turned down six or seven figures from Alabama to stay at South Dakota State last year.
Kids will do what makes sense to them.
I think there would be at least a temporary bump. Also, being FBS gets you into the new NCAA football video game probably lol.
Yeah totally no difference between West Point and North Dakota State
Why you put a dollar sign on shit?
Bc teams are generally not gonna be penalized for losing to FBS teams or the consensus #1 team in FCS on the road.
Didn't UNI used to routinely be ranked despite having like 3-4 records?
Its too late. Do you have any idea what you've done!?!?!?!?
I'd take anything. I know some folks (me included) look down at CUSA, but I'd take that too. But I dont know how much longer NDSU is gonna be appealing to anyone. Fans are getting checked out for a...
Same size as Wake Forest. No need for giant stadiums you'll never/rarely fill. Maybe they'll expand since they are going to host bigger/better schools now, but who knows.
Wake Forest's stadium is that size. They don't need to expand, though they may choose to.
That's more than the dome
When did you become a boise fan
In other news, it sounds like AAC is gonna shoot for West Point
They'll never not be allowed. How long they choose to be indy is a different story. Currently giving up tens of millions a year.
Nothing says " conference partner" like a team a couple hours from the Canadian border partnering with a team on the Mexican border
Isn't the B1G the best hockey conference?
Whether it shows up on lists or not doesn't change the truth!
What are you talking about?
This reminds me of the time UCONN tried to force UCF into a rivalry game lol.
