I think it's all about continuing to grow NDSU football. Staying in the FCS and keeping the Fargodome as a football venue for the next 30 years provides no growth. So did the best times ever...
Football stadiums don't get much bigger than 100,000.........but 19,000 is nothing for size.
Hard to build up the program when seating is locked at 19,000 and turning away 5,000 plus for most home games. In addition, just having ND Network for TV does not grow the product all that much. ...
