I think they're banking on a medical redshirt. I don't think it is/can be counted yet, but will likely be granted
He needs to improve on the mat. There have been numerous times where he has ridden guys for under 15 seconds and it appears like he doesn't want to try to ride or turn. He's been ridden by some guys...
Yeah, they've beaten two B10 teams and only lost dual they shouldn't have (West Virginia).
Fleetwood has a good chance to become an All American. Sykora is right there with top 10 guys, but can't...
Iowa State thumped us badly.
The Pitt dual today was competitive, but they won almost all of the close matches and the dual.
Eaton is down and hurt his knee. Stout, his opponent, told his coaches "i heard something pop".
He's going to keep wrestling though
Might be Stibral wrestling next
De la Riva lost a really sloppy match. Now likely need Metz and Eaton to win. IMO, not a good matchup for Metz
We likely need wins at 165, 174, and 197 to win.
Luke Weber just knocked off #10 Taleb Rahmani. Great win and it gives the team a realistic chnace to win the dual.
Disregard, Fleetwood is wrestling
Looks like Weber at 157 and Bianchi at 125 today
125, 149, 165, 174, and 197 could get us to five wins. Depending on which JVM shows up at 149, I think we're a coin flip at worse in each of those five. Would probably need Cam to close a large gap...
125- Fleetwood was flat, but he still found a way to win. I think he could've scored a couple takedowns with a little higher pace.
133- Cam wrestled well and had several chances to win this one....
I'll offer full thoughts tomorrow, but Cam had that match...
I understand why they did it, but I would've picked top in the third. Cam utterly dominated the second and Gomez wasn't close to...
Sutton at 141 for NDSU.
Schumacher is the ISU starter at 165.
Iowa State comes to town for a top 25 B12 match up tomorrow night. We'll be underdogs, but there should be some very good matches. My predictions:
125- Fleetwood dec Mackall 3-0 NDSU
133- Gomez dec...
