I'd love to see it happen. No excuses for sure. This is likely a sub .500 Iowa football team. If we show up Saturday and look like we have a pulse I may say 7-5, but that's probably the ceiling.

Not sure who NW plays the rest of the year, but my guess is they go the way of Rutgers (58-0ish) against the likes of Ohio St./Michigan. We made Rutgers look competitive.
You mean they're even BIGGER than they seem?!?
No. I've watched a ton of Iowa football and this goes way beyond anything your huge Bison egos can drum up.
Iowa's 2009 top ten, Orange Bowl champion team played a very similar game vs UNI, only...
...sorry we aren't holding up our end of the deal. We're a shit-show right now on defense and the offense isn't much better. I haven't seen execution this bad from an Iowa team in a long time. ...
Absolutely. Bison dominated the LOS. We saw the return of conservative Kirk. Can't play not to lose.
Let's not forget about the BS holding call on the 60 yard run by Daniels.
...that you're eligible for the AP Poll and (should) end up in the top 25 due to a bunch of requests by the voters themselves.
Congrats!
We've got a lot of work to do (not to take anything away from the Bison's performance). It will help to get two starting OL back. Your blitzing was not handled well at all. Can't say how I...
Which board? Hawkeye Report (Rivals) is still up and running.
Nice game guys. Now go win #6 in a row.

I've heard Buckley's on Queen Anne is a pretty cool place (just a ways straight west of the space needle)
Technically, it's been about an every five year cycle. We finished #8 in the nation in 2002, 2003 and 2004, then #20 in 2008 and #7 in 2009. Last year we finished #9. I'm looking to bigger and...
65 catches for 700 yards isn't too shabby when you're the #2 WR (behind Tevaun Smith)

Do you guys run that play with the same little used player the way Iowa does every time? Drives me nuts.
Just a quick update for you guys. Both starting C James Daniels and starting DE Parker Hesse should be ready to go Saturday. No excuses.
Yeah, basically Iowa St. is really bad. About the only take home message you can get from that game.
He did well enough for Beckham to go out of his way to compliment King's play (as a freshman).
OK, this comment is just a bit much. King shut down Odell Beckham Jr. in the Outback Bowl and teams basically stopped throwing at him halfway through the season last year.
The water, I guess.
This is way too easy.
Iowa over Illinois St. 31-14
Illinois St over South Dakota 46-0
South Dakota over NDSU 24-21
So another serious question (there aren't too many here:biggrin:). Is the majority opinion of Bison fans to stay in the FCS or make the leap to FBS? (if the opportunity presented itself)
This guy is a Cyclone poser. They don't have a team to cheer for so they go to Iowa's opponent's boards and cause trouble.
Now all you need is the best player in college football and you're all set
