You have made another mistake. U Chicago is the only former Big Ten.
You want NDSU to be forced to scramble?
Going to law school with zoomers gave me an opportunity to learn some new lingo. You aren't living under a rock or anything
Trying to make the only town who has proven they like hosting the Summit tourney ineligible is idiotic. Aka "galaxy brain"
We wanna make the only town that gives a fuck about the tourney ineligible? Galaxy brain energy. Truly. Amazing
Homeboy puts on a good show still
Jokes about them aside, need a new team to fill in. But who?
I dont think I was exactly clear. No worries
I mean if NDSU had a hockey team and happened to be hosting
So hypothetically it would be fine for special occasions where the gate will be substantial? Like UND or Minnesota coming to town?
Thats a good question if that's the case. I dont think they'd have trouble filling Scheels. Filing the basketball/hockey configuration in the dome regularly might be another story. Even UND has some...
Right, but student attendance collapsed during the time at Scheels. The BSA was a dump and all, but at least students showed up.
I think I can count on one hand how many times me and the boys...
I'd just use Scheels unless the program outgrew it. I dont think it would run into the same apathy the basketball team did when they played down there.
I think the idea is that the money isn't coming in for basketball so it's tough to allocate money to it. But yes, I'm with you
Their endowment is a few times larger than some of the Big East members. If they build a nice facility, I don't see what the problem would be.
Oh wow, I had assumed Butler was. The more ya know!
Sorta. The group of Catholic schools were always going to stick together though I think? Very kind of them to let UCONN back in the party. Surprised they didn't let them rot on the vine.
Idk...Creighton got in. I think there are multiple ways to get in. Curious on what all would go into that consideration.
I see one problem there. I dont think they give a shit about our assets. Football is an afterthought at those schools.
Idk how this is amusing. I would hope a Division 1 athletics conference is a better job than a single sport conference.
They are 1 bid at the moment but that can change pretty easily if one of the programs starts to fill the Wichita vacuum.
Lots of kids in Minnesota and only one other D1... seems very doable.
Idk how you think NDSU athletics is too big for UND lol.
I have no problem with private schools. I doubt the ACC is too bent out of shape about having Duke and Wake Forest. Samesies with the Big 12 and having Baylor/TCU.
