I am not completely FBS at all costs, I don't favor FBS indpendence unless the circumstances are extreme. Even in that scenario I would be calling the Big Sky before pulling the indy route.

Considering they might go to 14 with this expansion, UST might be in the Summit until the MVC loses another team.

The private schools are going to run that conference into the ground. They want markets to build their enrollment, nobody in KC knows UMKC exists.

Not sure that is the issue, football and geography are bigger issues with the MVC. The private schools despise scholarship football and don't want to grow its presence in the league.
