Must have missed it. Please quote a single post where that's the case.
In NDSU's situation, without a doubt. UND puts too much money into the hockey program as well.. really don't think the AD understands the law of diminishing returns. Cut 500K from the hockey budget...
Lot's of St. Thomas to Big East talk... but have they even stuck a local TV deal yet? Not sure they will be the ratings draw a lot of people think they will become. They will be great for the...
Per College AD, Lindenwood seems set to join OVC. Announcment may come this week. Saw Central Oklahoma may make a move as well - dont remember source on that one though.
For anyone worried about the Summit hiring Fenton, listen to his latest interview on the Reaching the Summit podcast. The guy is dialed in. ...
Does the Summit League have a buyout? If not, Fenton is going to try to add one. More curious right now if there is one or not. Obviously NDSU would pay whatever it was to accept a FBS...
Augi is in a good spot. They will have a D1 program that will help to get them more exposure, as hockey is popular in the area, and at the same time, you are better able to differentiate yourself...
Agree with you on that. Unless Augi replaces them. Would love to see Milwaukee/Green Bay if expansion is necessary.
WIU is now officially looking at the possibility of leaving the Summit:...
Based on his new article that is out today, I think he was referring to WIU. He says Murray is officially going to get an invite, based on his sources, and he mentioned WIU being an OVC target when...
It will be interesting to see what direction the MVC goes with conference expansion. If they take in UIC, TA, UMKC, and shaft Murray State again, I don't think much improvement by the Summit League...
Literally. You're right for once!
Fenton wouldn't start Summit League Football if it was mediocre. He does things the right way. If it included mvc teams, then I think he would pull the trigger. The guy has standards.
Are there any other Northern schools that want FBS? NDSU could work with a few other schools that could be interested and time the move so everyone goes FBS at the same time, then despite not having...
I think you guys will like Fenton. The guy is legit and he has vision - put together the NCHC pod, for example, and the NCHC platform that he put together is quality, kicks back 80% of the revenue...
Matt Brown, who broke the WAC/Southland/AtlanticSun stories and some MVC news, seems to think that the MVC is targeting UTA, based on FOIA requests. While the UTA possibility is somewhat old news...
Not that the Summit needs new teams right now, but if WIU left, could UCA be an option now that the Southland has imploded? I know there is talk of them moving to the Atlantic Sun, but if that does...
Augi would be better off in the MIAC than the Summit.
