I agree with this post in its entirety. MVC likes being a bus league, and the private schools want less than nothing to do with large football playing land grant schools from far far away messing up...
interesting. I would figure the MVC would have had eyes on both of those as well. Especially Belmont.

Sometimes when you're at the bottom of a hole it's best to put down the shovel.

With few exceptions, the MVC is a bus league. I'd wager most of the mid-major and low-major conferences out east are similar. Just saying.
Yep. Get a map and a flight schedule if you think location isn't a problem. Same problem for NDSU if you're thinking the mvc is happening.
NMSU? My opinion? Nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope. Geographic fit < zero. Absolutely terrible.
Me too but don't want one without the other.
If ipfw goes would they please take teh ooeypooey?

Now that was really good, and omelet you finish, but _arrell is one of the most inane posters of all time.
LOL you think there's a point...
Nice! Kampe knows who his competition is, and he's not about to give an ounce to them in any way shape or form. Very interesting...
Perception is reality. Now you and I know that Fargo->Brookings is a relatively short drive (maybe not in winter conditions) but in the eyes of a southern (or great lakes states based) conference...
I hope they do stick by SDSU. Personally I believe it's much more likely a bball conference will come calling looking for SDSU than NDSU. That extra 180 miles is a bitch.
Looks like a good fit for the Summit... if NKU wants to bite off on the travel.
