Maleeck brings energy, rebounding and the ability to score and Knoteck can stretch the floor and on top of it has shown the ability to drive and create his own shot. I'm not suggesting Quayle and Samuelson don't play at all but Knoteck and Maleeck deserve to see the floor more. Against SDSU the minutes were - Quayle/Samuelson - 36, Knoteck/Hayes - 5. Even against Denver when Samuelson only played 3 minutes before getting hurt it was - Quayle/Samuelson - 25, Knoteck/Hayes - 9 (All by Hayes as Knoteck didn't see the floor). The stats don't lie, if you look at the per minute played stats and shooting percentages Knoteck and Maleeck contribute more across the board. We all saw the same issue with Deng last year, we need the productive players on the floor.
