another thing to keep in mind about finau mangy, he grew up playing on a par 3 course which reminds me of the par 3 course in compton:

i also grew up playing on a par 3 course, good old town & country in the south of moorhead, then moved on to hone my game at a 9 (11?) hole club called ponderosa (which moorhead state shut down, morons!)------a few of my other favorite clubs are green valley golf course in lake park, mn and ofcourse the mahnomen country club

Outstanding sir! Remember them well SlickVic! Was playing on a course like that once with my Uncle from California via North Dakota, a WW2 ground pounder combat vet who I learned a lot of great jokes from and heard from others that he would scream himself and his family awake for many many years after. I was pretty young but will never forget standing on a tee box next to him surveying the beautiful Minnesota lakes/forest course and he said with authority, “There is nothing I despise more than warm beer.” He then reached into his bag and grabbed a can, cracked it, and enjoyed a nice warm beer as we waited our turn and soaked in that vista. Can see that scene in my mind’s eye like I was there again. Here’s to him and Earl, here’s to you, and here is to a fifth green jacket for Tiger Woods!!!
