Miles had Passion, Emotion, and could see talent and Develop it.
DR has None of the above, you can see it in his coaching, PFW coach yesterday was excited, moving around, clapping, riding the refs, pumping up his kids...DR just stood and frowned

Where are we ranked in the Summit league in terms of paying our HC? I don't have the #'s nor do I know where to look for them.

This is a really good job, I think papa Burgundy is right. There will be a ton of interest if the job opens up. Good facilities, good support and the Twin Cities for recruiting not far away. Plus we gave Richman five years, so any new coach will know that they will get the time to do it right.

Bball you typically don't fire during the season

Steve Alford would disagree with you. But you are generally correct.

You're right. It's frustrating though. If we were to move on from him now maybe we could see some development from our current roster the remaining part of this year. Geu and Ward wasting minutes on the bench. Burning redshirts for Knotek, and Griesel while Quayle continues to start and play major minutes. Very frustrating.

Couple names for the sake of conversation:
Rob Jeter: Currently an assistant at Minnesota, previously HC at UW Milwaukee for 11 years (with a stop at UNLV in between). Knows the midwest well, great recruiter and has proven he can win as a HC. Had interest in the USD opening.
Ryan Miller: Currently an assistant at TCU and has been assistant all over place (UCLA, UNLV, Memphis, Auburn). From SD and wants an opportunity to the guy. Ryan's strengths are recruiting and he would definitely bring a different caliber athlete to the Summit League. Also had interest in the USD job.
Joe Krabbenhoft: Currently an assistant at Wisconsin. From SD, knows the Midwest (previously at SDSU) and has an important tie to a certain healthcare system that would support him and the program.
