Not sure on that though.
Was wondering if it was just a professional courtesy scholly offer so the kid got to see at least one other university.
You may be thinking of the kid from Vermillion. It's Plitzuweit (sp?) or something close. His mom is the head girls coach at USD.
Fiegen's brother played for SDSU and he just verballed. SDSU wanted him badly, but I've never seen the kid play. Who knows. Hanson was released of his scholly. Wasn't doing well in the summer. He never verballed until after TJ came but I'm not sure he got a decent look at the kid. Hanson is from Volga, which is just a few miles down the road from Brookings.

I think we've got a good shot at him. He's not from Vermillion or South Dakota (he grew up in Kentucky) so that tie isn't really there. Some have said the family may want to him go somewhere other than USD.
Also, NDSU was his first D1 offer.

Is anyone surprised? Moody shoots pretty much every time he gets the ball.

I'm surprised by your statement. I was at the game. Moody was 9-15 from the field with numerous assists....but...I still think Meidinger will be the better college player....eventually!
Re: Recruiting: Class of 2017 and Beyond
Too bad the Bison did not have anymore schollies to offer him at the time, would have been fun to see Moody commit to NDSU. But the scholarships had not opened up yet (with transfers). Could see him being instant offense in D1, perhaps off the bench (not sure he is a point guard......)
Very happy the Bison were able to recruit Meidinger!
Re: Recruiting: Class of 2017 and Beyond
Im still hesitant about his size (Moody). How will he create in college? Terrific shooter though.

He's 6'3 and handles the ball pretty good. How do most "create" in college?

Is he HS 6'3'' or is he ACTUALLY 6'3"?
