SDSU ahead of NDSU on early verbals..........4 vs 3. They must have quit pushing the "we got hunting and fishing" and started to hit the recruiting trail earlier.

Well in all fairness we didn't offer any of their current verbals and only 1 guy had other offers. But they are doing a good job of early verbals
Re: BISONATION Recruiting Updates
Iowa = new Nebraska. Not that damn hard to figure out. Bohl was a Nebraska guy...Klieman is an Iowa guy. Use your head.

Yep. And we will still dabble in Nebraska as well. It's not like we were getting a dozen per year anyway but we did get the right guys...Dudzik, Emmanuel, Hinz, Bruhn, DeLuca...and of course Stick and RJ

Just saw the other day Iowa is up to 20 verbals already, perhaps that will help NDSU recruiting in Iowa even more,
in addition to Coach Klieman being an Iowa native.
Coach Riley (OL Coach) is a Nebraska guy, Omaha native (Creighton Prep) and Nebraska-Omaha grad, so I'm not giving up on Nebraska yet. So far it looks like typical NDSU selectivity. SDSU has a real good connection to Nebraska recruiting in assistant coach Daniel Jackson, so there is real competition. http://www.gojacks.com/ViewArticle.d...&Q_SEASON=2015
The Jacks love their upgraded facilities, as they should.
It will be interesting to see how some of the head-to-head recruiting competition goes between NDSU and SDSU,
that will tell Bison fans much. Players such as current NDSU offers (Nebraska) OL Gavin Rush and LB Jacob Matthew.
P. S. Creighton Prep High School - alums include RJ Urzendowski and Easton Stick

And all of that helps, but Bohl was around during the last hurrah of Nebraska football. His name is inherently bigger...good or bad...than Riley's. I haven't looked at the numbers, but I have to assume Wyoming is hitting Nebraska decently hard too?
Re: BISONATION Recruiting Updates
Gavin Bassett, Farmington offer received an offer from Army. He called it a life long dream so odds are he's probably going Army. Never know though
Re: BISONATION Recruiting Updates
can someone explain the military scholarships? I thought people who joined the military got paid anyway especially if they are full time. So don't they already get free schooling?
