no way they trade all the way up to take Goff- they could have traded to 3 or 4 to get Goff and kept some of the picks they gave up. Like CW with the Rams more than Cleveland but...to many picks and it will kill franchise for 3-4 years.

Why? Not necessarily disagreeing just would like some research as to what leads you to that conclusion.
IMHO, the Rams just traded into the number 1 spot and now get their pick of two very impressive QB prospects. The value of that, again IMHO, is well worth what they gave up.
If they only go to 3 or 4, there is no guarantee they get Wentz/Goff. Someone else could have traded up to 1, 2, 3, or 4. Now they get to choose who they want.
...Have you ever complained that someone thought NDSU was D2? Mcnair wasn't D2.
Worst case scenario is if Los Angels takes Goff at number 1 and Cleveland stays at # 2 Wentz will be the second player taken !
The Rams have one of the best DTs and DEs in the NFL. Combined with a solid oline and one of the best running backs in the game. Add a quarterback who is as advanced as Wentz the Rams could be very good very quickly. The Rams are almost a perfect landing spot. Now, let's hope they take him, seems likely IMO, but the buzz around the interweb is very mixed.
I think Goff could be a smoke screen? You have to think it's Wentz.
