Re: 2018 Coach Staff Update
The problem with the K State coaching staff was the old man, he just couldn't do some things he used to. The assistants they interviewed say it's night and day. I noticed that in 2013 when Craig Bohl ran out in front of his team and Bill Snyder ambled out after his.
Of course it was because he's too old to do any of that stuff but that's why you retire before you get there.
So maybe a lot of assistants stay behind and they right the ship.

Well, that sucks. Hope Mess stays. Not overly surprised Riley is leaving given that CK wants to run the ball better at KSU.

Goeser said he is staying did he not

Considering none of them were on the radio during signing day, I would take that as a hint

Though I heard him say something like "No plans" for leaving. Besides, I doubt K-state will recruit Wisconsin.
Re: 2018 Coach Staff Update
If I had to take a guess, probably Goeser and Hedberg are the only returners and they will both get a nice promotion to offensive and defensive coordinator. Makes sense. More money and promotions. For guys like Roehl, if he isnt a Coordinator, not much career growth, or pay growth. Not sure on Buddah.

They weren't going interview every coach on the staff...
Re: 2018 Coach Staff Update
So.... given recent NDSU preference to selecting existing (defensive) staff member to move up to HC, is there anyone on the current staff who is a prospect to be the 'coach after coach who replaces coach K' with a 4+/- year window?
