If you worked at ABC Electric and announced you were taking a new job at XYZ Electric, do you think you would be invited to the Xmas party this weekend??? MOVE ON BISON, Klieman has.
What would stop assistants from doing same thing?

NDSU lost 2 recruiting battles to SDSU for South Dakota athletes:
WR - Canyon Bauer, 6'1" 200 - Sioux Falls, SD (O'Gorman)
Also had pwo offers from Iowa and Minnesota
OT - Bo Donald - 6'7" 280 - Kimball, SD
So if Coach Klieman had strong FBS-type interest in them, well, we shall see......
2 other high-profile names for the Jackrabbits are:
LB - Thomas Motzko - 6'2" 225 - Highland Park IL
NDSU did recruit Motzko, but got early LB commits elsewhere (Weerts)
DL - Caden Johnson - 6'3" 241, Wahoo, NE (Bishop Neumann)
Multiple offers including Air Force, Army, MVFC, Nebraska pwo.
The Bison got early DL commits, so don’t know if they ever were involved with Johnson.
Re: 2019 Recruiting Updates
OL Tristan Roper (Blue Springs MO) verbals to Northern Iowa.
Had a NDSU offer, among many (10ish)
Plus a couple pwo’s, including Nebraska, Utah.
Paging KState......:)
Re: 2019 Recruiting Updates
Good day for the Panthers -
Jared Penning - OL - 6’ 7” 308 - Clear Lake IA
Commits to Northern Iowa, where his older brother plays.
Had offers from NDSU, SDSU, South Dakota, Fighting Hawks, Eastern Michigan.
Re: 2019 Recruiting Updates
There you go CK- go after those 2 at KSU. Help yourself and hurt UNI. I am sure there are some bunnies that would like KSU better as well
Re: 2019 Recruiting Updates
With Weerts visiting NDSU this weekend and him holding a K-State offer currently, is he fair game for Klieman to recruit to his new school? I feel it's a good sign though that he's taking his official visit this weekend, especially in front of what will be the most electric atmosphere the F-dome has ever seen.

He was offered by KState before Kleiman took the job so KState is allowed to continue recruiting him even though he is verballed here. That said, yes him being here for a game with this magnitude and energy is a big plus in trying to keep him committed.

This isnt Laramie where the cuppbord is bare and it's a total rebuild. Klieman will suddenly have access to talent he hasn't had access to before
Per a lot of the KState fans I know, they will were not expecti g to be very good next year regardless of who the next coach was. Would be best if KSU can experience done attrition.
It is very much a rebuilding process.
