He comes from a family of good athletes. Everyone of them that I played with/against was tough and played with an edge. Got to watch Jaxon play basket for the last 6 or 7 years against my nephew. The family lineage will certainly live on if not take a step forward with him.

Is he related to the Dickinson Duttenhefer's?

2nd place finish in the Class A Shot Put last spring.
53' 10" is an excellent mark for a sophomore.
Re: 2021 Verbal: Jaxon Duttenhefer
Apparently, he is around 275 now.

Yes he is.

I'm all for a DT at 6'4" 275 right now coming out of high school!!! Especially a North Dakota kid!!! Welcome Jaxon!! Now lets hope that they don't try to move him to OL. We can get great OL all over the midwest but I like this kids size and nastiness.

Agreed, DT needs to be a point of emphasis. We need to make sure we own both lines of scrimmage. Thought we were a little light as far as depth went for the interior D-line last year.

This was in his HUDL highlights but not from this angle (although I might have missed it):

Cripes, when I went to Mandan, we might have had two guys over 200 lbs and only a couple over 6' tall - and hardly any of them could run a 40 in under 5 seconds.
