I think private should be able to bar firearms. Inside the dome... might be pushing the boundaries without a special permit.

Sorry. I thought it was one of the concerns of yours about selling beer at college football games. I'm thinking you are just saying it's a general concern of something that could hypothetically happen but there's no proof of it being an issue at any universities that actually have begun selling beer. I could appreciate that, but I'd be interested in if it actually has been demonstrated to be an issue.

Seems reasonable based on your rationality. I'd say constitutional carry laws would undercut that argument, but you addressed it somewhat with the special permit qualifier.
Possibly the combination of large crowds, plus beer, plus guns is a bit much to mix all together.

Yes. I would say so. Most any principal or ideology taken to the extreme is problematic.

I would say generally you manage to the rule, not the exception. But 20k people in a stadium is definitely the extreme exception and that's why the law forbids conceal and carry at sporting events and bars. It's probably legal to conceal and carry a handgun while tailgating but I'm not sure on that one.

I'm not a straight up Libertarian but their beliefs are more in line with my thinking. I'm all about personal freedom, limited government, and capitalism. If that makes me a Libertarian, so be it.

If it matters, never intended to say you were a capital L Libertarian as the political party, but just you reasoning followed lower case l libertarian thinking.

F Politics. I just want to enjoy a beer at the game instead of having to do 13 bison bombs with longhorn so i can keep a 3 hour buzz.
