Thank you, Gene Taylor!
Awesome! Let’s beat them this time!!
Chris Klieman Invitational.... hopefully its during Football bye week of 1st round playoffs
This is awesome!
What’s the status of our 7’0 C? Is he heathy, running, working out this summer and looking to be a factor in 19-20?
I guess our football team wore out their welcome at Kansas State and won't be invited back.
Any other insights on the schedule? When does it usually get announced?

official date set, november 5th
I would love it if the game were close at half and HCDR shows us how he has learned to close the game out and in style with like a 12 point never in doubt victory. Be a good way to start the season.

Nice get for the Bison here, especially with return game from the Sycamores. Mo Valley hasn’t come to Fargo often.
Keep it going. Get some more buzz around the MBB team!
I like this matchup. We need more of these type games at home instead of everything on the road.
https://soundcloud.com/wzfg-am-1100 - Hallstrom was pumping it up in June (interview with Brian Shaw).
It is going to be an exciting year with everybody coming back back except to Deng. Player of the year candidate in Vinnie and several seniors in a very weak Summit League this next year. I hope we go out and get another tough non-conference schedule.
Impressive, glad to see ISU Blue on the basketball schedule. Would love to see more MVC teams year in a year out.
...Can we rename this thread to include the word "Schedule" in it?
Cal Poly Nov 11th (home game) scheduled.
Am assuming he means a schedule announcement in WiskyLand forthcoming......Quote:

The Bison will host perennial SoCon power East Tennessee State on Dec. 7 this season.
2019/2020 Men's Basketball Non-Conference Schedule:
November 5th @ K-State
November 11th vs Cal Poly
December 3rd @ Indiana State
December 7th vs E Tennessee State
December 20th @ Marquette
Other games known:
@ Idaho (Big Sky/ Summit Challenge)
Montana St. (Big Sky/ Summit Challenge)
Utah Valley State (WAC/ Summit Challenge)
Seems like a Wisky reference, but the tweet was vague enough to allow for it to be Marquette.
If Milwaukee or Green Bay would be nice to see a home/home.
But if not, would understand as Wisconsin (state) is such a good recruiting area.
Is it a game, or is it a player?
Marquette it is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! December 20th.
I'd say the quality of schedule concerns are being aggressively addressed.
or 1 of them would be enough for me.
Marquette will be fun they will be top 20 ... hell maybe top 10
markus howard will be markus howard, but losing the hauser brothers cannot be understated. don’t think they can come close to what they were last season. will be something to watch, can’t wait for the game
Agreed.
Maybe some of the feedback from the basketball survey resonated. This is shaping up to be a nice D1 schedule but I hope we don't see multiple DII teams fill this out.
Is it safe to assume an early season tournament will be added at some point??? Looking good so far and really looking forward to watching this team!
I talked with some people last night at the AO1 Softball game that sit near me at Men's basketball, they are excited to see this team next season. Happy with the schedule that is coming out. There is an up tick in interest for this next season. This goes for both BB programs. It should be a fun ride.
Their non-conference schedule was actually pretty good last year. Gonzaga, Iowa St, New Mexico St, Montana, Drake, East Tennessee St, UCSB. All of those teams won 20 games or more last year (Gonzaga and NMSU won 30). The problem/complaint I have is those games are almost always on the road (or neutral site in the case of Drake). They won one of those seven games against teams who won 20+ last year and, surprise surprise, it was the lone home game of the bunch against UCSB.
Did the NCAA birth help us regarding scheduling? I think the women's success for SDSU did, but not sure if that translates the same to men's basketball. Also...we will still have 3 DII games on the schedule - two ND teams and one MN team I am guessing. It's just unavoidable. Maybe Augustana will come to Fargo this year?
Home-and-homes would be great and this is the years to capitalize on that because of the NCAA birth. A home-home with NC Central would be pretty cool in my opinion, to start a rivalry from the NCAA game.
