New LPGA season. Amy is 4 under par in her 1st round of the Lottery. No bogies!
Thanks for starting a new thread dufferole! I was deferring to those of you who have been on here awhile to get that done! New thread, new focus for Amy Anderson as well! I think that this course and this tournament fit her well based on past results, and she has a real chance of coming out of Hawaii and on to Texas with some great results! She is off to a marvelous start at -4 just four off the lead currently! Pray that this week starts off a great run for Amy and for Kim Kaufman of South Dakota as well! She has been faithful and paying her dues on the LPGA, and Easter would be a very fitting time for Amy to go into Bison mode and maybe even win this thing or the next one!!
Just figured out that this event ends Saturday! http://www.golfchannel.com/news/golf...rts-wednesday/
Would love to see her finish this SECOND round strong with some more strokes shaved off par to ease on into Friday in a nice spot! Go Amy....GoBison!!

Would love to see Amy work a little with Bernhard Langer or Steve Stricker from the Champions Tour (can't fault me for having an opinion!) in addition to all of the good things she has already put in place! Any thoughts on these stats?
2nd round quick stats:
Fairways Hit 9/14
Driving Distance 264.00
Putts Per Round 30
Green in Reg 11/18
Sand Saves 1/1
Dang one over when the rest of the field was going under par. That is not going to work, she just can't put a whole 4 rounds together. Hopefully she can turn it around for the weekend, at least she made the cut this tourney.
Not sure what the cut line will be but I think she makes it at 3 under. Go Amy.
I understand that she has been or was working with a new swing coach who is Dave Stockton's son, who ought to be quite a guru on putting with that connection. Her first round she went 27 putts and then 30 on the second, and of course the score followed suit. Seems like her short game is solid and that the swing changes she has made have been effective, so all that remains is the putting as you said! Hopefully Ron Stockton will address that in the fashion that his Dad is known for!

She is now at -5 and five off the lead on moving day. She started on the back 9 and I think she has the capacity to really tear up the holes remaining today! This Saturday finish is hard to get used to, but as long as it suits Amy that works for me! Go Amy.....GoBison!!

Is anyone aware of an App that allows for following certain LPGA players live or?
Thanks G_Mandakota!
She has seemed at times to start very strong and then not maintain the pressure! Perhaps along with fine tuning the putting as she has been doing she could use a great sports psychologist to help her with finishing and not ever letting up. She is a delightful person, but perhaps on the course she needs a little more killer instinct.....maybe her fiance can direct her more on that! Easy to arm chair of course, but that is part of what these forums are for! Go Amy.....GoBison!!
Here are Amy's stats through round 3:
RND 1 RND 2 RND 3 TOTAL
Fairways Hit 11/14 9/14 14/14 34/42
Driving Distance 262.50 264.00 237.50 254.67
Putts Per Round 27 30 31 88
Green in Reg 13/18 11/18 13/18 37/54
Sand Saves 0/0 1/1 0/0 1/1
Whoo hoo. 6 under round. 9 under overall. Great finishing round!
She's going to finish 22nd or 23rd.
Tied for 23rd

Last round with the fantastic six under finish she had only 26 putts! Would love to see those sort of numbers continue for the winningest NCAA college player in history! I believe that she is going to hit her stride on the LPGA just like she did at NDSU, and we may be just about to witness that happen! On to Texas in another event that suits her game very well! Go Amy!.....GoBison!!

Up to 75th on the money list. Players in the top 80 after the Texas event get a priority boost.
Like to see the Dakota Duo of Amy Anderson and Kim Kaufman come on to Texas and continue the great golf demonstrated with 66's in the final round at the Lotte! They both seem to like Texas and Texas loves them as it does all of the Bison and Dakota folks! Lady Bison and Lady Texas Red Raider returning to Dallas and the Lone Star State!!
Perhaps a 1-2 finish in the Volunteer Shootout?!? I can get behind praying for those type of results....in fact I just did! Amy needs to continue the great putting and put together rounds like she did recently and she did time after time in her record shattering NCAA days and it is going to happen soon! Hopefully she can get in some great time in the next two weeks with family and friends and fiance! Grant Olson...put that Bison football hard nosed winning mojo on Amy to go with all of that talent, sweetness and loveliness! She has the good, she has the nice, and she has the talent, but a little bit more of that fierce you brought to the gridiron would be good perhaps. Your lockdown defensive performances turned in while being part of Three National Championships such as 29 tackles in one game and on and on were truly stuff for the ages sir! Bottle some of that stuff up for Amy going forward! Go Amy.....GoBison!!

Amy's game picked up last fall when she got a new instructor. Had had some very good rounds under par and seldom over par. She made $19,219 at the Lotte for a total of $37,519 and sits at 75 on the money list. Most important, she birdied the last two holes that gave her an additional $5,806. Hopefully her days of caving in on the weekend are over.
It's Shootout Week! The world's top 20 ranked players are all in attendance in Texas, so this is as good a week as any for Amy to have the breakout performance and roll we all believe she has in her! Prayers lifted for Amy and for Kim Kaufman as well, the other half of the Dakota Duo!! Take that momentum from the great play in Hawaii and run with it! The eyes of Texas are upon you!

And I heard on news that LPGA/PGA and British Open are amending and or doing away with penalties called in by tv viewers/video review.

She shot a 2 under 69 today ( finally posted on the LPGA website)
Nice driving average. She must have eaten her Wheaties.
Don't look now but she is sitting top 10
