New year. New season. New thread. Go Amy!
So when is her first tourney?
Adam Long just won the Desert Classic as a 31 year old Tour rookie going head to head with Phil Mickelson. Never won on the Latino or Web tours or any pro tour, but got this one at the highest level which will change his life. His best finish up until today was T63 good for about $13000. He picked up over a million today in cash along with massive exemptions going forward!
Congrats to him, and here is to Grant and Amy’s return to Fargo and to both of them reaping the rewards of their years of hard work and perseverance as well. Like you said PuckNut, let 2019 be the year for Amy and for them both!!
Drumroll! Finally closing in on the 2019 season getting underway for Amy Olson of Oxbow ND!

Two rounds down at the Vic Open in Victoria Australia and Kim Kaufman of South Dakota is leading at -13 with two 66 finishes! Go Kim! Amy Olson starts next week, so here’s to Kim starting off 2019 with a win to break the ice for the greatest season yet for the Dakota Gals!!

Kim Kaufman is a big city girl coming from Clark SD which at 1200+ souls is 4 times the size of Oxbow (population 305)! :) Here is the latest on the only Dakota Girl competing this weekend! (Amy's season starts next week at the Australian Open):

Mangy, Kim didn't go to NDSU, isn't from ND, did not even go to a SD school. If you want to comment about her, start a new thread somewhere else. I am sure she is a fine person, but this is Bisonvlle.
Good news as already stated is that Amy starts next week dufferole, and many including myself are really looking forward to that! Thanks for pointing out the obvious regarding Kim. Well aware of all of that. However, Kim Kaufman and Amy Olson go way back, and Amy herself has referred to the two as the “Dakota Girls.” There are plenty of parallels and connections with the two, and while the career of Kim Kaufman may not be of interest to you here, it is to me and and to many others. Please feel free to “Stick the click” on my posts if they don’t fit your interests or sense of provinciality.
Why not try something novel and try to contribute something of any sort to the golf discussion? I have yet to see you post anything on the golf board here other than snarky attempts to discredit or bully. I believe that prior to this, I nicely suggested that if you have nothing nice to say, perhaps it’s best to say nothing. I’ll make a deal with you. This season post a dozen or so somewhat thoughtful comments regarding Bison golf and Amy Olson here, and I will then reconsider my excessive enthusiasm regarding the folks who another poster here correctly in my opinion referred to as Bison royalty. Ah heck, maybe just a couple thoughtful posts. In the meantime, when you see a post from MOB, the Mother of All Bison, feel free to just stick the click! Cheers!
Thanks pal! I have yet to offer up much biography on Coach Olson here. Were you wanting some of that? Something that is very exciting and of great interest here though!:

Who is we? Do you have a cow pie in your pocket? I already answered that and I don’t agree that Kim Kaufman has nothing to do with Amy Olson or her golf career or NDSU, nor do I think that Amy or Grant Olson would agree with that narrow minded and ill informed statement any more than they would agree with your smarmy efforts a few years ago to denigrate the significance of her just being on the LPGA and how difficult and big of a deal that is all by itself. And as I told you at that time as well, as big as making the tour IS, it was just the beginning for her as I believe it is for Kim Kaufman ad well. Try something new. Post some orginal thoughts and opinions of your own! It is, after all, an opinion/discussion board.
Two holes to play and still leading. Almost through moving day!:

Love it SlickVic....outstanding! Great to see you standing in the gap at the ready to cheer Amy on once again for what should be an amazing 2019 campaign! Thanks for the positive comments and enthusiasm...I needed that! Lol! Really hoping that her friend and peer breaks the ice for them both with a win in Australia this week. They have both come so close, and just need one to tip the scales and open the floodgates! Skol and Cheers both to you Slick!

Kim still has a 2 shot lead with one round to go. She
maintained the 2 shot lead in very tough conditions.
Nice to see her healthy again after a tough year and a
half of heath problems.
Really enjoyed watching her play that third round DORMIE! She looked miserable, but kept smiling!
She has paid her dues.

I understand from another esteemed poster’s comments that you are a long ball specialist SlickVic, but this shot is for you anyway sir!:

Well you were finally correct on one point in this being a discussion board. The rest was nothing more than your usual over winded hyperbole.
Considering this is a discussion board you sure show a seemly side to those that dont agree with your bent. Dufferhole made a very good and reasonable suggestion.
At which time you played the asshole card and told him to stick it. Its obvious that the B in MOB doesnt stand for Bison. With that I will leave you to your mental masturbation of the Olsons.
Dufferole, not dufferhole That sounds disgusting.
The word would be “unseemly” and even if the correct word had been used would not be applicable to what was said. I suggested to dufferole to simply not click on or read my posts if they were not of interest, i.e., “stick the click”, but disagreed that all would find them uninteresting or completely off the topic. If I thought that there was any inkling of sincerity in your new found and laughable pretense of concern for that poster, I would suggest that you go back and reread the whole response I offered to dufferole. I have respectfully conversed with dufferole without your “assistance” on here on countless occasions and don’t think either of us require your input. By the way, it is dufferole rather than “dufferhole“.
Your inane and sophomoric attempts at belittling and bullying while contributing nothing have been one thing, however, your crude references and obscenity are not acceptable on this forum, especially considering the presence of minors. Enough is enough.
Final round of the ISPS Handa Vic Open tonite on the Golf Channel. Go Kim! Go Dakota Girls!! All three in the final group are trying for their first win on the LPGA.

Kim Kaufman could not hang on on the final day and ended up finishing 8th. Congrats go to Celine Boutier of France, who finished at -8 to win for her first time! Amy and Kim’s turns at center podium are coming very soon! Final prize money payouts for the 2019 Vic Open:

Time is finally here! Amy Olson tees it up in just a bit at 1:07 Adelaide time at the Australian Open! The round will be televised on the Golf Channel. GoAmy, GoKim, GoBison!!! A top ten finish for both would be very nice.....or better!
