Happy she made the cut. It is a grind out there. Here is to another weekend of golf and a paycheck.

Another tough round for Amy today. She was 4 over after 12 for her round but had 2 birdies to finish 2 over for the round and 4 over for the tourney. She has had 4 double bogies this week. Most of the field are having scoring woes. Master putter Inbee Park missed 2 very short putts on the beginning of the telecast..
Amy Olson is paired with another of my all time favorite players today in Lydia Ko of New Zealand, along with Brianna Do of the United States. What a wonderful and up tempo group that would be to follow! They all turned pro about the same time, but have a huge variance in results to date with Brianna at under 100k in lifetime prize money, Amy at over a half million, and not yet 21 year old Lydia closing in on 10 million! GoAmy, Go Lydia, Go Brianna, Go Bison!!
Amy finished bogey bogey for a 1 over par round and 5 over for the tournament..
Seen too many times now like BisonFanatic has pointed out where she doesn’t quite finish. Not literally of course as in WD, but something keeps her from getting into the clubhouse with the score that would match her play. Ron Stockton is an ace in that arena as well, so there’s your homework Coach! Nice job with 14 cuts in a row in any case! Just as suspected, that pairing with her served all of the players in it very well except Amy. One of the main announcers on the PGA thinks that Ricky Fowler is too nice to fans and competitors, and that he is going to have to develop a killer instinct in order to win like he should based on his talent. If there is such a thing (excessive niceness/lack of arrogance?), then Amy certainly shares it! On the other hand, there probably needs to be a lot more like Ricky and Amy and some others in pro golf and pro sports in general. Folks who play for the love of the game and wear a smile that says they love the game, the fans and the competition!

Didn’t think of those two BisonAudit! They have been very close, and could very well add to the record books soon! More good stuff regarding Moriya and her win!:
