Re: Masters Golf and Any Other Miscellaneous Golf Discussion
Was a great 1st round. Brooks was a machine. Bryson hit some incredible shots coming in. Phil just mashing the driver all over the course and getting out of trouble. TW solid but not spectacular. Hopefully tomorrow delivers like today did.

Re: Masters Golf and Any Other Miscellaneous Golf Discussion
They mentioned on The Power Trip yesterday morning that Caesar's sports book in Vegas took a $20,000 bet from someone who wanted to bet that Tiger Woods would not win all 4 majors this year. What is that ticket worth if the bettor is right? $20,020.
That's right, he bet $20k to win $20.... it'll never happen obviously but it would be awesome to see Tiger pull it off and cost that dumbass $20k.

I guess the guy is trying to bet on a volume basis? I like your sentiments Prof Chaos.

i also grew up playing on a par 3 course, good old town & country in the south of moorhead, then moved on to hone my game at a 9 (11?) hole club called ponderosa (which moorhead state shut down, morons!)------a few of my other favorite clubs are green valley golf course in lake park, mn and ofcourse the mahnomen country club

The Masters app is free on your phone if you don’t have that yet with a lot of good stuff, and it is nice to have to supplement the TV coverage. Go Tiger, GoBison, GoMasters!!!

Outstanding sir! Remember them well SlickVic! Was playing on a course like that once with my Uncle from California via North Dakota, a WW2 ground pounder combat vet who I learned a lot of great jokes from and heard from others that he would scream himself and his family awake for many many years after. I was pretty young but will never forget standing on a tee box next to him surveying the beautiful Minnesota lakes/forest course and he said with authority, “There is nothing I despise more than warm beer.” He then reached into his bag and grabbed a can, cracked it, and enjoyed a nice warm beer as we waited our turn and soaked in that vista. Can see that scene in my mind’s eye like I was there again. Here’s to him and Earl, here’s to you, and here is to a fifth green jacket for Tiger Woods!!!

Town and Brown baby! Just make sure you get to #s 8 & 9 before the sun got behind the trees or you'd be eaten alive by mosquitoes.

Re: Masters Golf and Any Other Miscellaneous Golf Discussion
Don't get into golf much but was pretty cool to see Tiger win, way back when I really didn't care at all about golf reading about Tiger going to be the next big thing. I haven't really followed much at all these years at all and probably stay that way still.

“The hell you do.”
