Re: Klieman's Kstate Thread
Klieman & Co get their 2020 QB.
Now we get to see what they can do with a 3 star QB! :)
https://247sports.com/Recruitment/Wi...ruitInterests/
Will Howard - 6’ 3.5” 210 - Downingtown PA (West)
Other offers include Kansas, Minnesota, Cincinnati, Maryland, Rutgers & Harvard
Good to see for KState, another QB they were actively recruiting - 247 four star
Chubba Purdy Perry HS (Gilbert, AZ) - recently committed to Louisville

Chubba Purdy is Iowa State starting QB Brock Purdy's younger brother. Glad to not see him in the Big 12.
Re: Klieman's Kstate Thread
Daniel Jackson - 5’ 11” 185 - WR - Mission KS (Bishop Miege)
Kansas State misses out on 247 four star, 4th ranked player in Kansas. Big get for Minnesota.
Other offers besides KState include Notre Dame, Iowa, Iowa State, Wisconsin, Missouri, Arizona State
Re: Klieman's Kstate Thread
Interesting little tidbit from new Texas Tech head coach Matt Wells at the Big 12 media days about Chris Klieman. Apparently he wanted to hire Klieman as his DC at Utah St before the 2013 season and Klieman turned him down saying he wanted to be a head coach (and apparently thought it would be easier to do that staying at NDSU as the DC).

That would've been when he had only been at NDSU for 2 seasons and the DC for only 1 season.

Just think how that could have changed things when Bohl left. We've been incredibly blessed to have a program and leadership to sustain this run.
Re: Klieman's Kstate Thread
Wonder if KState has a 2019 scholarship available?
Jayden Russell - 6’ 2” 180 - DB - Overland Park KS (St. Thomas Aquinas)
Was a Kansas Jayhawks signee, but things happened. Sounds like he is immediately eligible - don’t know if Klieman & Co need a DB after 2019 recruiting but Russell was the 8th ranked recruit in Kansas (247) and had other offers from KState, Boston College, Iowa State & Duke.

Raise your hand if YOU DON"T GIVE A CRAP about Kansas State
am I the only one? I can't be.

Actually looking forward to his season and will follow it closely. Really really really liked him. Still do. Great person. Funny how his departure was nothing like his predecessors. P5. Bigtime.
Re: Klieman's Kstate Thread
Same here. I'll be watching. Much respect for Gene and Chris. Coach K is the defensive genius behind the run. Hopefully Entz learned something.

Same here. Really am indifferent about K State but very much interested in CK and the other guys who went with him. Hope to see them succeed and therefore K State FB as well.
