AAC would be amazing for NDSU. with this article, Pres/AD should be calling them!
I’d say 3-4 years ago there was more of an fcs forever crowd. I believe that’s shifted to understanding that there is another spot we can be but also understanding it’s not as simple as you make it seem.
If you don’t think they haven’t had some informal discussions you’re foolish. Just because they don’t spout off about it on social media doesn’t mean a discussion hasn’t taken place. I don’t blame them for not wanting to talk to you about it.
Using capital letters doesn’t prove your point.

That's why he'll still yell at everyone that Christian Ponder is a great NFL QB.

That's called paying for a service. Minus the small TM donations that come with season tickets, you are paying for a service. That'll really move the FBS meter.

Get to know some of the donors. Lobby for their support and show them that you are putting your money where your mouth is.
Otherwise you are essentially lobbying for socialism with the "We want shiny new things that we can't afford so instead we'll hit up the rich people to pay for it for us!"
Now, if that is truly what you're lobbying for, that's fine. (I'm not trying to go political on this topic) Just be aware that you sound like Bernie Sanders with your "FBS for all" banter.
Lobbying the fans on this message board will do nothing to move the needle at NDSU and their decisions whether or not to pursue a move up. Donations and talks with the University will go much further. Otherwise we are just all going to be talking in circles on this subject.
Put up or shut up.

Perfectly stated.
Re: NDSU American Athletic Conference?
I get and somewhat agree with the complexities of increasing funding and and doing an FBS move the “right way”. That said, am I the only one here who thinks if we we played a G5 schedule right now and beyond, and didn’t spend another dollar than we do right now, that we’d be top-25ish competitive immediately? I just don’t think the gap is that wide and I think our current system and culture makes up for a lot of $$$’s we currently don’t have. AND I think our results on the field year after year prove this.

We've got a p5 team right now. So yeah the g5 should be pretty easy competition wise. This team deserves better. It's an insult to this team to suggest they move to g5.

Wow. You don't have a clue about what it takes to fund, compete, or get an invite at the FBS level. Just wow. You probably don't know much about what the academics of the peer institutions at the FBS level look like either. Or enrollment numbers. Hmmm.

Results on the field have not been that long in the scope of things and this unprecedented run will no last forever.
