It looks to me like the two outside DBs on the top of the screen blow the coverage and both run with the outside receiver leaving the inside receiver completely uncovered. It also looks like Cox was either responsible for the RB or spying the QB and when the back gets caught up in pocket traffic and the QB winds up to throw Cox drops right into the passing lane for the wide open receiver.
So if you were in the boat that LSU's defense is awful in spite of Cox's superior individual level of play this is a great piece of evidence in favor of that.
Anyone else think he looks a lot bigger than he did with the Bison? Could just be me but he looks like he has put on some muscle.

Also a grown man move by the LSU DT (#99 I think) who just tossed the Arkansas Center to the side. He probably rushed the QB's throw... otherwise he could've just waited a split second and let his receiver clear Cox before throwing it and they would've had a big gainer.

I've always believed that interceptions come from pressure, and sacks come from coverage.
Re: 2016 Verbal: Jabril Cox
Jabril had two really nice pass breakups already. The only TD for Texas A&M came on a play where Jabril was out. Jabril is the best player on that defense right now.
Re: 2016 Verbal: Jabril Cox
LSU D played pretty well. The offense is bad though, really bad.

Yeah, offense arguably gave up more points than the defense.

Jabril Cox was named a semi-finalist for the Butkus award.
