You need to slow your roll a bit here. The guy put up 440 or more yards passing vs Northern Illinois, Southern Illinois and Illinois State.
EIU averages almost 600 yards per game(407 passing and 188 rushing)....They are the Baylor/Oregon of the FCS.

Garropolo threw 56 times in the SIU game. They run up the score on OVC teams. That, is simply for stats.

1) The other team's kids are on scholarship, too.
2) I don't see how the idea that they scored one more TD with the starters than some people's sense of decency allows detracts in any way from the ability of Mr. Garoppolo.

Re: The "Real Deal" Brock Jensen
This article was great. Too bad the Foolum and other media talking heads don't tell these stories more instead of blowing up the negative stories to something they never were. It's stories like this that make me glad Brock and others are leading this team and setting an example to younger players. Bison Pride!!

Good stuff. I'm not a religious person but I respect those who believe in their faith. Brock's a good guy and a big part of our team. Any recognition earned is well deserved. I like how he uses his status for good.
Re: The "Real Deal" Brock Jensen
The thing that struck me about this article was he is all about the team. He doesn't care about the number he puts up as long as they win. If they need him to run, he runs. If they need him to throw, he throws. If they need him to hand it off, he hands it off.
Reminds me of Joe Montana. Not the biggest numbers, but a winner who will always kill you in the end.
Re: The "Real Deal" Brock Jensen
It's articles like this that remind me the players are real people and young men learning about life while doing the very best they can on and off the field. They will do great things and sometimes make mistakes, but as long as they are humble and give it their best that's all that matters. Also as a fan I need to be more forgiving when a player doesn't play perfect on the field knowing they are doing the best they can.

You nailed it.
Re: The "Real Deal" Brock Jensen
Just because they have schollies doesn't mean the conference is as good.
Does Carolina have a great offense because they scored at least 30 points against the Vikings, Giants, and Tampa Bay?
