Nope there is two number 5s. CB #5 Jerodd Vines had the fumble recover.
Re: True Freshmen - Games played 2021
How about last years freshmen? Since the spring season doesn't count they could technically use the 4 game rule as well and still be freshmen in year 3

I don't think it changes much. Trey was the exception and not the rule. Had that stupid spring season not happened, we would have had very little attrition. I always try to picture that offense with Trey, Radunz and all the seniors who ended early
Re: True Freshmen - Games played 2021
Number of games played by true freshmen this season:
5 - Mike Florentine - Long snapper
1 - Cole Payton - QB
1 - Jaxon Duttenhefer - DT
Florentine was the only true freshman to play in the UNI game.
Re: True Freshmen - Games played 2021
so recruiting was sub-par? this is FCS you'd think we could get 3-4 recruits at least to step right in & play
Re: True Freshmen - Games played 2021
NDSU is loaded they have no use for the freshmen

I actually think for a great team in FCS, it is the exact opposite. You are not getting those 4 and 5 star skill, off the ball, guys who may be able to play right. If you are a development program like NDSU, you are bringing in those 2-3 star guys, and bulking them up and getting them ready to play in 2-3 years. Now, on the other hand, you suck and have poor depth, yeah, you have to play some of those guys. Trey, Easton, and Trey all shirted........so RELAX!

yea I see that. but you'd think by year 10 of this dynasty we could pull a couple bigger recruits with the adage of "go fcs & play right away?
