I would be pretty surprised if Entz tabs the starting QB in spring. I'd expect him to give the coach speak "They each look good... we'll make that determination in fall camp" response when asked even if the coaches know who it'll be by that point. So I'd say the chances that Noland transfers again before the 2019 season are slim to none. After that he, if he's stuck behind Trey Lance, only has 1 year of eligibility left. Does he transfer again? I guess it's possible but I'd think this is his last stop.

If he has signed a LOI with NDSU how can he transfer without dropping down another level?

Good point, he couldn't without a waiver from the NCAA. So I guess SHSU is a non-starter unless he does decide to transfer already this summer or something like that but that seems even more unlikely since he'd lose 1 of his last 2 years of eligibility and it's pretty clear he didn't want to do that or we wouldn't have been looking at NDSU and SDSU to transfer now, he would've been looking elsewhere in the FBS.

I trust that he and the coaches know what they're doing. Worst case scenario is we have a 4 year starter who is better than a P5 transfer.
That is what they call, in some parts, "high cotton".

Like a Civil War canon? It's going to come out hot and hard, but you have no idea where it's going to go.

IF Zeb isn't starting this 2nd half, then its the greatest travesty ever

Very interested to know why he isn't playing. The kid was always eager and a hard-worker at Ames who wanted to be on the field to contribute.
