On a somewhat related note “Shoe Dog” by Phil Knight was a pretty good book.

Probably limited football talk in Eugene in the spring. It's Track and Field season!
CyPanth -"I imagine there are two types of Oregon fans:
1. Clueless, arrogant, smug. "Paying an FCS opponent is beneath us." "Why schedule a cupcake?" "North Dakota, I thought ND was Notre Dame." "Probably won't even be able to sell my tickets."
2. Clued in, fearful, reasonable. "Nothing to gain here with a win, lots to lose with a loss." "These guys wear down opponents in the 4th quarter." "Not worth the injury risk." "Have you heard how they invade home team's tailgate lots?"
TALON - I dont see them as worried for an injury risk. Most P5 FBS fans think they are going to injure an Fcs teams players because their players are superior athletes, but they have a lot to lose in the standings if FCS NDSU beats them.
I use to hear that a lot from FBS teams in GSUs heyday from 1985 - 2001. They referred to 1aa teams a D2 schools. Many FBS fans didn't understand that 1aa meant division 1 with 63 Scholarships. Others did know and just wanted to piss us off with there elitist attitude.
I believe that if NDSU does get to play the Ducks they will find out that they picked up the wrong FCS team for a so called "Tune Up" game!
I know it’s a bit early but does anyone have any idea on a timeframe of when tickets for the Oregon game will be available? Just curious as to when to start looking.
April of 2020 probably
I had to check and non-conference single game tickets for this year go on sale June 13th. Maybe it will be similar in 2020?

Btw, just checked AirBnb and there are a TON of houses for a very reasonable price in Eugene. This is going to be incredible
